NASA Astronaut Edward (Mike) Fincke ISS Suit

This is a daily workout suit made especially for NASA astronaut Edward (Mike) Fincke for his routines onboard the International Space Station (ISS).

These spacesuits are custom made to the exact measurements of the astronaut wearing it.

The suits are delivered to the ISS via the Progress Cargo Ship launched from Russia.

Each suit is checked by a special commission consisting of military inspectors.

It is X-rayed to make sure that no metal objects (such as a needle or pin) is accidentally left inside. The suits are then vacuumed and sterilized and placed inside a special anti-static plastic bag tagged with crew members name.
This picture was taken onboard the ISS and shows NASA astronauts Ed Lu together with Edward Fincke wearing the suit.

Here are two pictures that were taken on the ISS
showing astronaut Edward Fincke wearing the suit.

Here is a close up of the name tag on the suit. Notice that it is written in English & Russian.
