High-Tech Productions is considering buying the world famous Space
Camp and the Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, Florida.
The facilities are being sold due to foreclosure on the property. High-Tech
Productions, a video company based in Boca Raton, FL, has been
donating Science & Technology Centers
to Boy Scout camps nationwide. The Space Camp facility would be
converted into the world headquarters for the Science Centers. The
Astronaut Hall of Fame would be renovated and be reopened to the
public with free admission to any registered Boy or Cub Scout and
their families.
The
Astronaut Hall of Fame houses the world's largest collection of astronaut
memorabilia plus displays, exhibits and tributes dedicated to the heroes of
Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. There are also training simulators and various
other space items on display.
