the late 70's. This is a self contained unit
consisting of a built in 120 volt power supply, multiple
probes on retractable cords, self diagnostic
system and audio/visual analysis displays. A
removable, hinged cover protected the unit during
transport.

Motors.
(It still has the NASA Identification number
on it ).

history. It is believed that a similarly shaped O-Ring
caused the first Space Shuttle disaster.

This Nozzle is from a FLOWN Space Shuttle Booster Separation
Motor. Approximately two minutes into flight, 16
of these small but powerful motors execute
split-second timing to provide the precise thrust
required for safe separation of the spent boosters
away from the main fuel tank and orbiter.

This is a piece of Silica Aerogel, the same type
used in the Mars Pathfinder
Rover. It is 99.8 %
air. Aerogel's are generally known for being
an extremely lightweight transparent solid. It can
support 1000 times it's own weight & resist
hi-temp.

Skylab Artifact in Pyramid |
This is a FLOWN
1" x 1" piece of Skylab displayed in a beautiful
Lucite pyramid. Skylab was America's first space
station, launched into orbit on May 14, 1973 and
was manned for over 171 days. It re-entered the
Earth's atmosphere on July 11, 1979, scattering
debris mainly over the Indian Ocean.

Thermal Radiation Blanket. It
is 7 1/2 inches long by 4 inches wide and has an
identification number that reads: GP 15C-1. It was
going to be used to protect delicate instruments
on the Lunar Module Vehicle.

the Apollo Data Acquisition Camera which is

tile was made in the late 1970's for Columbia, the
first shuttle to fly in space. Each Shuttle
contains more than 34,000 separate tiles, each
specifically cut for its own location.

Cooling Unit. |
This is a portable Pressure Suit Cooling Unit.
This device cools the pilots while they are on the
ground waiting to get strapped into the cockpit.
It uses liquid oxygen to cool the suit and is a brand new unit.

is a NASA Launch Control Center Pass which was
issued for the Apollo 10 mission. It allowed
support personnel into the launch control center
at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The pass
is sealed in a Lucite display stand. It has a
small piece missing from the top of the pass where
the clip used to be.
